Down-East Sportscraft, Inc.’s products are warranted to the original user against defects in workmanship or material under normal use for a period of one year after date of purchase. Any part which is determined to be defective in material or workmanship can be returned for repair or replacement. Down-East Sportscraft, Inc. reserves the right to examine the defective item and determine if the item falls within the warranty guidelines.

Down-East Sportscraft does provide replacement parts and repairs at reasonable costs. For more information on missing parts, defective items, replacement parts, or any questions regards to our products please contact us directly.

About Our Family Business

The Peterson Family has been manufacturing our quality fishing tackle since 1946 in Lewiston, Maine. Our original D-10 Down-Easter Rod Holder was first designed and produced in the Fall of 1946. It was originally designed to offer fishermen a “third hand”, while they rowed their canoe or rowboat. Over the past seventy years, a number of different mounting systems were developed while the basic mechanism remained unchanged. Our fourth generation, family owned and operated company continues to be committed to providing the highest quality products and services for our customers, representative of the Peterson’s Yankee ingenuity and craftsmanship.
